The Firm currently uses MyCase and its communications providers to facilitate certain client and prospective-client communications, including SMS text messaging.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. You should therefore use appropriate care when transmitting particularly sensitive or confidential information electronically. The Firm may direct clients to use a secure client portal or another method of communication when appropriate.

These SMS Terms of Service govern text messages sent by or on behalf of the Law Office of Angel S. White (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Consent to receive text messages is voluntary and is not a condition of obtaining legal services from the Firm.
You are responsible for providing an accurate telephone number and for notifying the Firm if your number changes or is reassigned.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges may apply to messages sent or received in connection with the Firm’s SMS messaging program.
5. Opting Out
You may discontinue SMS communications from the Firm at any time.
Reply STOP to unsubscribe from text messages.
After you opt out, you may receive a confirmation message acknowledging your request. The Firm may thereafter communicate with you through another appropriate method, including telephone, email, mail, or the Firm’s client portal.
Opting out of SMS communications does not terminate an attorney-client relationship or otherwise affect legal services being provided by the Firm.

10. No Attorney-Client Relationship Created by Texting
Sending a text message to the Firm, receiving a response from the Firm, or consenting to SMS communications does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.
An attorney-client relationship is established only when the Firm has agreed to undertake representation in accordance with its applicable engagement procedures.
11. Changes to These Terms
The Firm may revise these SMS Terms of Service periodically. The version posted on the Firm’s website and identified by its “Last Revised” date will govern future SMS communications after the effective date of the revision.
